This is a fixed term position of 12 months.
The shift pattern for this position is 08:30-16:30.
The Orthotist is responsible for the delivery of clinical services to a defined client group undertaking a generic caseload.
Takes responsibility for a designated clinical caseload incorporating patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge from care.
Works within multi-professional teams to ensure co-ordinated care for patients and carers.
They supervise and delegate tasks to Orthotic technicians, Orthotic clinical assistants and support students while on clinical placement.
Essential Criteria
- Honours Degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics or equivalent
- HCPC Registration
- Evidence of relevant post graduate CPD if graduated more than 6 months previous
