Secondment / development opportunity

As a result of Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland’s drive and investment in improving care for people living with respiratory conditions, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Registered General Nurse to join our team as a CHSS Community Respiratory Nurse.

You will be based in Inverness and work across the North Highland area. You will support people living with the impact of a chronic respiratory condition. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to enable people to make the best use of supportive resources.

Working as part of the NHS Highland Community Respiratory Team with the leadership and direction of the Advanced Practice Respiratory Nurses, you will be an ambassador for CHSS and demonstrate their value of “No Life Half Lived” in your approach to care.

You will be a registered general nurse with professional knowledge, skill and clinical expertise of respiratory nursing attained through experience for a minimum of 3 years in a relevant post.  You will have experience or an interest of working in a person centred community setting.

This would be an ideal secondment opportunity for those with a desire to develop skills in person centred community respiratory nursing care.
