This post is a 12 Month Fixed Term / Secondment position

The Post: 

The Marketing and Communications team within NHS National Services Scotland is transforming. We’re changing the way we work to better meet the needs of those who use our service and we’re supporting more high-profile health and social care programmes than ever.

The Candidate:

To help us deliver first-class communications support to our service users, we are looking for a creative, operational thinker, with proven experience of utilising the full marketing and communications mix to deliver behaviour change across a range of projects.

We are looking for someone who can manage enquiries from a range of organisations, the public, our service users and the media. 

You’ll need excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills and, with the ability to work well under pressure, you’ll be expected to deliver to tight deadlines. 

We would like you to bring to the team:
 
•    Experience in handling media enquiries
 
•    Experience in handling busy comms mailbox
 
•    Strong digital skills including social media experience

Location and Working Pattern:

Gyle Square, Edinburgh or Meridian Court, Glasgow.

However, it should be noted that NSS is currently in the process of relocating from Meridian Court to nearby Delta House, 50 West Nile Street Glasgow G1 2NP. 

Currently hybrid working 

Work pattern - Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week

It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
