An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 15 hr, Band 6 Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) nurse specialist.  The post supports patients with EB across Scotland and is based within Dermatology at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.   The post involves provision of care for adults with EB in outpatient clinics and the community.  Occasionally support is also required in the inpatient setting.  Day to day the post will involve liaising directly with patients in need of help with their condition with telephone and video advice as required.  Alongside this the post holder will be involved in running nurse led clinics and supporting existing EB clinics in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee and Aberdeen.  Clinics are undertaken either face to face or through the ‘Attend Anywhere’ platform.  The successful applicant will work within the nursing and multi-professional team to ensure a high standard of person-centred care.  They will be a suitably qualified nurse and will develop, and /or further develop specialty skills as required by the post.   Please contact: Charlotte Ashton on 07811517058 for informal enquires​​​​​​​
