This is a perfect time to be joining our Occupational Therapy service in South Ayrshire. You will be working with a large team of Occupational Therapists across South Ayrshire. It is an innovative and visionary service with significant additional investment from the South Ayrshire Health and Social care partnership. This highlights the value of Occupational Therapy support for people and their families by the partnerships. With all the opportunities to work as a band 5 within South Ayrshire you will be well supported through well-established robust supervision structures and processes’ and have the opportunity to work closely with a wide range of health, social work colleagues and colleagues from a range of voluntary organisations. 

You will be part of a passionate and supportive service to ensure that people are provided with the required support in the most accessible and responsive way to provide safe and effective services and achieve personal career aspirations across physical and mental health services across all ages.

All positions are part of our NHS Ayrshire and Arran Band 5 rotation programme which offers an opportunity to experience a wide variety of clinical areas including mental health, acute services, community rehabilitation, learning disabilities and children services.

​​​​​​​Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a visionary Occupational Therapist who enjoys working as part of team to create and sustain change to ensure that people are able to receive accessible and responsive support.

It is essential you have a Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy with current registration with HCPC, however will consider pre-registration candidates with a view to commencing the role within a band 4 capacity.

Full driving license/learning to drive is essential.

Hours: 37.5 per week (worked Monday to Friday, flexible working/full or part time considered. Would request you contact Claire or Heather to have a conversation around the available options).
