The Neuroprogressive and Dementia Network (NDN) (formerly known as the SDCRN) is an established organisation whose primary aim is to facilitate the conduct of randomised trials and other well designed studies in dementia and other neuroprogressive diseases such as Huntington’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Motor Neuron Disease, and Multiple Sclerosis in Scotland, including those of prevention, diagnosis or treatment. Dr Emma Law is the current network manager and Dr Tom Russ is the network champion.


This is an established post within the network. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the manager who will have an overview of research staff and other projects in Scotland including the NDN and ENRICH staff (Enabling research in care homes).


Your role will be key in providing the administration support to an entire network of around 36 staff in Scotland. You will be assisting the manager to produce reports to go to the Chief Scientist Officer.


You will be based within Ninewells hospital but will have the opportunity to travel to other areas within Scotland, at times.


You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
