Due to the secondment of a team member into another post, an exciting opportunity has arisen for the recruitment of an enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join our team of Clinical Pharmacy Technicians covering all inpatient admission areas within the acute setting.

Do you want to be at the forefront of developing the Clinical Pharmacy Service here at Forth Valley Royal and the Clinical Pharmacy Technician role in line with the National Strategy? If so, this is the job for you.

With a focus on patients newly admitted to hospital you will be involved in the transformation of hospital services, working to advance the roles and responsibilities of the Clinical Technician within the wider MDT including development of technician led areas.

Post holders should hold a relevant technical qualification recognised for registration by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). You should also hold a nationally recognised PDCT/ACT qualification. Previous experience of the Clinical Pharmacy Technician role is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.​​​​​​​
