An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, appropriate experienced nurse or physiotherapist to join the Arthroplasty Service, Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing practitioner led clinics for the review of patients with hip, knee, shoulder and elbow replacements and running a practitioner led pre operative education clinic. 

There is an option for this to be a rotational post involving trauma/fracture clinic, and trauma coordinator; this can be discussed at interview if of interest.

The applicant will also be responsible for providing telephone advice and support to patients’, carers and other health professionals.  Data collection, audits and presenting information to various groups in an agreed format are part of the service provision. 

We would welcome applications from innovative practitioners who have a drive to improve the service, support staff wellbeing and have a strong collaborative approach to care.

The applicant must have a current knowledge and experience working within orthopaedics, be able to work independently and have good communication and organisational skills.  ACE course completion is desirable but not essential, X-ray interpretation is desirable but training will be given.

The successful candidate(s) will be NMC registered as a nurse or HCPC registered as a physiotherapist.
