The post holder contributes to the development and operational delivery of a wide range of Telehealth/Technology Enabled Care projects and programmes in line with the Department Business Plan and under the leadership of the Telehealth programme manager.

Lanarkshire Telehealth and Telecare team is an exciting and developing service delivering a programme of digital enabled support as part of the Scottish Government Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Programme.
Currently this includes remote clinical monitoring using a SMS text based system and video consultations.
The post holder will assist in the development of protocols, processes and accompanying documentation for these systems and facilitate the setup, training and ongoing support (using telephone, VC, e mail and face to face contacts) with the clinical staff using the systems.
In addition, the post holder will provide delegated clerical support to the Telehealth programme team as required and deliver public and staff awareness/training sessions.
The post holder will contribute to the evaluation and reporting requirements of the programme.
This is a rapidly expanding service which requires a flexible approach to the day to day work plans and an ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders including senior management, operational staff in community and secondary care and the wider public.
