The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm

​​​​​​​An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Addiction Nurse within the North West Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service. The post offers specialist Addiction Nursing support to a diverse population in the North West Locality of the wider Glasgow HSCP. You will be responsible for managing your own community caseload and provide a service across the North West Locality. You will have a key role in promoting and developing the role of the Senior Addiction Nurse in the community by working in collaboration with patients, acute hospital services, social care colleagues and third sector agencies demonstrating a holistic and recovery focused approach to practice. The Senior Addiction Nurse will act as a gateway into care and support for our patients as part of a stepped pathway of care. A First Level Registered Mental Health Nurse with a minimum of 2 years post registration experience working within an addiction setting at Band 5 is required.
