Glasgow City HSCP has a diverse population of approximately 590,000 people and employs around 3000 staff. The services delivered by Older People and Primary care includes Community Nursing (District Nursing, Treatment Rooms and community phlebotomy), Social Work, Rehabilitation, respiratory and older peoples mental health.  

Treatment Rooms are located across the HSCP and delivers care in clinic settings, to patients who are referred by GP’s and members of the primary health care team.  The Treatment Room Service provides skilled clinical interventions that encompass a broad spectrum of technical expertise, health education and health promotion in order to promote and maintain independent living for patients.  

The post holder will provide an accessible, appropriate, high quality, culturally sensitive, skilled and effective nursing service to patients aged 5 years and over within the treatment room whilst working in partnership with other members of the primary health care team and service users.
