Due to further developments within the CAMH Tayside Eating Disorder Service an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Outpatient nurse to join the service to provide Nursing Leadership, management and service development.
We provide a specialist service for all children and young people with eating disorders under the age of 18 years old in Tayside.
The Service provides specialist outpatient assessment and treatment of eating disorders primarily, Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, and their variants, having access to psychological, psychiatric, nursing and dietetic interventions.
As the successful applicants you will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with appropriate experience of working within the field of mental health or CAMH setting with evidence of ongoing professional development. We are looking for an individual who will enjoy working in a challenging environment. You must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be willing to undertake educational and development activities.
Reporting to the CAMHS Senior Nurse and CAMHS Management Team
The contracted base for this post is Dudhope House, 15 Dudhope Terrace, Dundee DD3 6HH with travel required across NHS Tayside.
You must be a UK Registered Nurse in Mental Health (RNMH or RLDN) with previous experience at band 6 or above.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register
