Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, aligned with AFC BAND 6 £35,522 - £43,286 pro rata per annum + Enhancement depending on candidate experience
Hours/Contract: Full time – 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Based: South and East Scotland

The Service Manager is responsible for supporting the Head of Operations in the day to day effective and efficient management of Marie Curie resources in the Operating Area. They will operate in close partnership with the Head of Operations and Medical Director as a key member of the senior team, directly supporting the operational, performance and governance needs of the organisation across the Operating Area.
The postholder will provide a key role in the management of all support services in the Operating Area, managing the physical resources, and providing performance management support to the Head of Operations (financial, planning and business management) supporting them to ensure services are delivered within budget, that national and local targets are met, and that opportunities for income generation are maximised.

- Demonstrates abilities in financial management and budget setting
- Demonstrates excellent service and people leadership and management
- Able to successfully demonstrate change management to optimise service delivery and improvement projects
