ADULT PUBLIC PROTECTION LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR ADVERT

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Public Protection Team in NHS Grampian on a full time basis.

The NHS Grampian Public Protection Team work across all the health services in Grampian to support NHS staff to keep people safe.  Working with colleagues, the role of the Public Protection Learning and Development Coordinator will be to lead on the development and delivery of training and learning opportunities in the area of adult public protection.   This includes (but is not limited to) creating and delivering training courses; generating other forms of learning opportunities; and creating high quality learning materials.

Normal place of work for the post will be NHS Grampian Headquarters – Summerfield House, Aberdeen City.  However some planned travel will be expected as part of the delivery of courses.  Some hybrid working and flexibility on work location may also be possible. 

Prospective candidates will require to be self-motivated, enthusiastic and have a passion for Public Protection.  The prospective candidate should also have good knowledge and understanding of Adult Public Protection – specifically areas such as Adult Support and Protection legislation etc.
