A vacancy has arisen for a Risk & Resilience Administrator based within our National Risk & Resilience Department. The purpose of the NRRD is to ensure that robust organisation-wide arrangements for risk management, emergency planning, business continuity, special operations and community resilience are developed in keeping with existing and proposed legislation, government policy and standards, emerging and anticipated threats and risks and best practice in the field. The mission of the is to protect the Service and the community from the consequences of risk.
Reporting to the Office Manager NRRD, you will be required to provide a comprehensive level of administrative, secretarial and clerical support to NRRD, Community Resilience, Logistics and Special Operations including communication with external agencies and internal departments, support for training courses and exercises. Evening and weekend working may be required.
As well as having good communications skills, you should have a wide range of administration/clerical experience and have the ability to work to a high standard on your own initiative. You should be computer literate and be familiar with Microsoft applications and databases in particular excel. You will be required to deal with sensitive information for which security vetting is required. You will also need to have previous experience in thorough minute taking.
