The core purpose of the Digital & Security organisation is the provision of world class Digital and Security expertise, solutions and services to our customers, which include NSS, NHS Boards, Scottish Government and the wider Public Sector in Scotland.

The National Clinical Informatics Service for Scotland is involved in Clinical Safety Assurance of Health IT; Software as a Medical Device; Health & Care Analytics; Clinical Terminologies; Digital Health & Care Solutions; Clinical Data & Information; Research & Innovation; and Training & Events.

Scotland’s Digital Health and Care Strategy makes a commitment to develop and embed a standards based approach to clinical and care safety cases for all major systems. With the resulting increased demand for clinical assurance on a range of new IT solutions, an exciting opportunity has been created to strengthen our Clinical Informatics Team. As a Quality Specialist you will play a critical role in enhancing the clinical safety of a range of IT solutions being developed/supported by the Digital & Security Business Unit as well as implementing and maintaining a quality management system.

Location and Working Pattern:

It should be noted that NSS is currently in the process of relocating from Meridian Court to nearby Delta House, 50 West Nile Street Glasgow G1 2NP. 

Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week

It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
