An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse to join our Stroke Rehabilitation Team at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Ward 56 is a 30-bedded ward which specializes in recovery - post stroke. The Nursing Team assist in managing the physical, emotional and social effects of a stroke. We are looking for a forward thinking individual to join a team of established Nurses, therapist, clinicians. Applicants for this role will have a keen interest in caring for acutely unwell patients, combined with developing services within stroke.
You will be joining a well-motivated and dynamic multi-disciplinary team who strive to deliver the highest level of care possible be part of a forward thinking ward and committed to team working for the benefits of patients. You will contribute to the provision of specialist nursing care for stroke patients, practicing within the multi-disciplinary team and providing high quality and individualized care to our patients who have been diagnosed with a stroke. We strive for clinical personal development with career development opportunities. You will be fully supported by SCN and Practice Educator to tailor learning opportunities to your needs with in the ward. You should be enthusiastic, dynamic and self-motivated with a real interest in this specialty. We are looking for good team players with excellent written and oral communicators.

Mixture of full-time + part-time hours available ie 37.5/34.65/23.10hrs – 12hr rotational shift pattern
