Bariatric Specialist Nurse /ERAS Support

An exciting opportunity has arisen  to continue developing  a new CNS service to support patients undergoing Bariatric Surgery the post will be  predominantly within South sector . 

ERAS will be an integral part of these patient’s pathways so supporting the ERAS unit within QEUH will be a part of this role.  A Clinical Nurse Specialist is a Registered Nurse who has acquired additional specialist knowledge and experience. Working within the nursing and multi- professional team you will ensure a high standard of care to a defined patient group and manage the complex patient pathway while ensuring patients and their families are supported. Integrated within this role are consultancy, teaching, management and research activities.  You will join a highly motivated multi-disciplinary team   It is essential you are a First Level Registered Nurse educated to Degree level with significant post registration experience, able to demonstrate evidence of clinical practice development and experience relevant to the responsibilities of this post.
