Secondment or Fixed Term 1st April 2020 – 31st March 2022
Reporting via the Scottish Ambulance Service Consultant Paramedic in Urgent and Primary Care, the Clinical Effectiveness Lead for Urgent, community and Primary Care will be responsible for developing and delivering systems of care that will make the Ambulance Service a world leader in Clinical Performance.
A key role will be enabling the delivery of the Scottish Ambulance Service’s Clinical Service Transformation, particularly relating to work within the Scottish Ambulance Service and with key partners. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a spread of good practice across all parts of the Service and using data for improvement in developing new models of care or partnership working where necessary.
This post demands excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills. You will work effectively in partnership with a diverse range of colleagues internally including the Ambulance Control Centre and Divisional teams, and externally with Scottish Government, and with other partners across health and social care and the Third Sector.
Applicants will be a qualified Allied Health Profession (such as a Paramedic or Nurse), ideally working at masters level with evidence of significant post registration experience.
Base location is flexible, however the sucessfull applicant will be expected to travel to meetings throughout Scotland on a regular basis.
