An opportunity has arisen for a Retail Catering Business Manager to join the Catering Team to build on the work to date in the transformation of the non patient catering service within NHS Tayside. The non patient catering service consists of 31.4 wte across 10 dining rooms providing a meal service to staff and visitors, a hospitality function and vending machines. The postholder will provide strategic and overall operational leadership to the non patient catering service. A team of managers will assist the postholder in providing day to day operational responsibility for the non patient catering service.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record within the retail environment that will ensure growth of the customer base and the non patient catering service. You will ensure that the service achieves the budgetary targets and that all legislative food safety and health and safety requirements are met. In addition, you will have highly developed interpersonal skills, have strong leadership skills, be a team player and must be able to work to specified timescales.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
