We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Workforce Analyst to join our team at Law House, Carluke.

The post holder will provide support to develop, co-ordinate and implement an annual plan to ensure all workload workforce tools are applied within nationally agreed timescales. They will play a key role in the extraction, analysis and presentation of workforce and workload tool information from national and local sources and enhance the data analysis, interpretation and presentation skills in the Healthcare Staffing Team, supporting the development of relevant datasets to appropriately reflect the information needs of NHS Lanarkshire in line with the duties of the Health and Care (Staffing) (Scotland) Act 2019. In addition, the post holder will liaise with service and financial planning and provide information and support to those involved in workforce planning activity.

Additional Information Specific to the Role 

  • Extract workload tool results from within the SSTS Reports platform and report on workload tool and workforce information across NHS Lanarkshire in a consistent way and within specific deadlines.
  • To support in the implementation, management and operation of the eRostering and supplementary staffing systems, including but not limited to Safecare Planning.
  • Update and Maintain the Workforce Data Repository specific to all Workload and Workforce Information.
  • Carry out day-to-day management of the LAN Daily Safe Staffing PRAG Report/Tool, running back up routines and exports to dashboards and carrying out housekeeping duties. Also working closely with the local professional clinical leads/teams to provide support with any developments, reporting of risks and guidance as appropriate.
  • Support to develop and maintain systems and processes as required to meet the duties of the Health and Care (Staffing) (Scotland) Act 2019.
  • Keep abreast of related national information and developments within NHS Scotland, in particular those in relation to Health and Care (Staffing) (Scotland) Act 2019.​​​​​​​

The successful candidate must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a car.
