An opportunity has arisen to join the Phlebotomy Service covering inpatient wards within Clyde Sector.    The post holder will be responsible for providing support to the Phlebotomy Lead for the management of the Phlebotomy service to wards within Clyde Acute Division, while working  as part of a team providing a venepuncture service for all specialities within both RAH and IRH sites, ensuring target times are met and adhered to for the prompt delivery of blood samples to the laboratories.  It is essential that the post holder has excellent timekeeping and communication skills, is flexible and adaptable, and can work well within in a team and also independently, while using their own initiative.  The post holder must have a minimum of 3 years inpatient phlebotomy experience.  Ability and willingness to travel between both RAH and IRH sites frequently is essential for this post.  The post will be worked over 3 days 0700-1200, Monday to Sunday across Clyde.
