This is a part-time post of 22.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.
It is essential that you are educated to a B.Sc. in Dietetics and registered with HCPC. You should have ideally post-graduate clinical experience working in both acute and rehabilitation environments as part of a clinical team. If you have clinical experience in other specialties with transferable skills we would welcome further discussion with you.
The post requires PVG Scheme Membership / Disclosure Scotland Check.
This exciting opportunity has arisen within the Dietetic Rehabilitation Team which provides an acute city-wide service to, Stroke and Older Adult Rehabilitation, Regional Neurosciences, Trauma, and National Spinal Injuries Unit. This post provides input to Stroke and Older Adults in conjunction with colleagues and is supported by dietetic support workers.
Working within these specialties allows the practitioner to follow the patient’s trajectory from the acute phase of injury to rehabilitation and recovery which is extremely satisfying. There are several ongoing developments within the team at present :quality improvement within stroke and dementia and a review nutritional input in frailty OPD pathway. We are committed to supporting practitioners to advancing practice level by participation in these quality improvement projects.
