An exciting opportunity to come and work within NHS GG&C Dietetic Service has arisen. This vacancy, within the Surgery and Critical Care Team, is based at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and involves working with a highly complex group of patients following major surgeries in upper GI, hepato-biliary, and colorectal as well as Plastic Surgery and Maternity Unit. GRI is also a major Centre specializing in Intestinal failure and Home Parenteral Nutrition.

This post supports work across the NHS GG&C Dietetic Service in Surgery and Critical Care, supporting other Dietitians within the team across all sites and involves working within general surgery and a 23 bed Critical Care and High Dependency unit in a fast changing and complex nutritional support patient group alongside a well-established Nutrition Support Team. You will also contribute to dietetic practice placements. This post is one of several Specialist Dietitian posts within this team, and is led on site, by  Band 7 Clinical Team Lead/ Advanced Practice Dietitian. Previous experience at band 5 of at least 18 months and a BSc in Human Nutrition & Dietetics and HCPC registration are essential.
