Job Advert

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a administrator to join the Managed Service Network for Children and Young People with cancer.  The MSN was appointed several years ago by Scottish Government; the objective is to create a single service across Scotland for children and young people with cancer.  To achieve this we need to work across traditional health board boundaries, collaborating with colleagues and key stakeholders across Scotland on a very regular basis.  This is an opportunity to become a part of a responsive and dynamic network.

The Network Support Officer provides an important administrative function to the MSN, arranging meetings, events and projects as well as supporting key office functions.  This post holder also provides some PA support and diary management for the MSN Leadership team.

We are looking to appoint a highly organised person who pays close attention to detail.  You will be joining a small supportive team, but you should have the confidence and motivation to work without direct supervision.  This post requires frequent travel across Scotland, mostly within the core hours of 9.00 am to 17.00 pm, however flexibility is required.

For an informal discussion about this post, please contact Lesley-Ann McGregor, National Network Manager, on telephone 07384705154 or by email lesley-ann.mcgregor@nhs.net.

Hours of work are: 37.5 per week.  Interviews will be held on Thursday 20th February 2020.

NHS Tayside is committed to equality and diversity and welcomes applicants from all sections of the community.
