Job Description

The Planning and Policy Development Manager will play a key role in developing, co-ordinating and leading a range of policy activities which support the continuous improvement of the Health and Social Care Partnership.

The post holder will work within the wider Strategic Planning and Health Improvement Team which provides strategic support to HSCP Senior Leadership Team, Senior Service Managers, wider management structures of three constituent organisations, IJB members and wider community planning.

To develop and promote Clackmannanshire and Stirling Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) integrated approach to the planning of HSCP functions and services at both strategic and locality levels – across the HSCP, Contribute to the support and assurance to the Integration Joint Board on meeting statutory planning and reporting requirements. To develop and promote local policy and solutions to ensure the effective implementation of local and national polices within the HSCP and its partners. To work collegiately with the Performance Team to ensure that the research, analysis, evaluation and benchmarking needs of the HSCP are met and that opportunities are identified to improve and develop services through enhanced business intelligence and needs analysis.
