Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity? If so, why not consider joining the Infection Prevention & Control Team? We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated registered nurse to join our service.
The post holder will work as part of a team delivering an Infection Prevention & Control service across a wide ranging portfolio, including the care home community, mental health and learning disability inpatient sites and directly managed community services.
The role provides a new and exciting opportunity to work in partnership with colleagues in the Care Home Collaborative hub model, working with Care Homes and HSCP teams across GGC to drive and develop improvements for both care home residents and staff.
The post holder will also have responsibility across inpatient services, including, mental health and learning disability, for implementation of standards for the prevention and control of infection and for monitoring, investigation, management and control of infections within GGC.
One of the main qualities for this post is the ability to work as part of a team. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
It is essential the post holder is Registered Nurse with the NMC who can demonstrate a broad range of clinical experience.
The post holder should be able to demonstrate evidence of continual professional development. This post does require the applicant to undertake additional education with respect to IPC.
A current driving licence is essential for this post along with access to a car.
