Kirklands - NHSL Headquarters Administrative Services - Information Systems/Technology are looking to recruit a Datacomms Engineer - Networks
The Datacomms engineer will provide technical support to all areas relating to IT Network Infrastructure.
The post holder will support the IT Network Infrastructure in providing technical input for the implementation and support of all network equipment and systems within the remit of IT Infrastructure. The post holder will work together with colleagues and users in NHSL and other external agencies to provide technical support for all network hardware and software .They will work together with colleagues and users in NHSL and other external agencies to provide technical support for all desktop hardware and software.
The successful candidate will be educated to or operating at degree level in a relevant IT discipline and have experience in a desktop related support role within an Information Technology Department. In addition, applicants should preferably have additional technical training and certification in relevant technical skills and products. Detailed knowledge in the use and support techniques is required to manage Networking products that include Cisco and Fortinet Systems
Candidates should preferably have experience in a health service environment
It is essential the post holder must hold an unendorsed full UK driving licence and have their own car to successfully perform job function duties.
