You will coordinate, manage and implement all aspects of operational estates for their designated area by providing strategic direction and professional and technical leadership across clinical and non clinical services within the Sector. You will play a key role in the development of the Operational Estates Strategy for NHSGG&C and its alignment to the Board’s Clinical Strategy and Property Strategy. This will include active participation in the development of the ten year estate development plan to improve service delivery to users and to improve building maintenance in an innovative and creative way. You must have an accredited Bachelors degree at honours level plus either an appropriate masters Degree or further learning to masters level or an accredited M.Eng degree plus. In addition, this post requires a management qualification of HNC or above and you must have a record of achievement in large scale complex environments, preferably healthcare. You should be able to demonstrate problem solving capability where complexities often include conflicting demands, legislative requirements, health and safety considerations, contract obligations and technical issues. You should have proven ability to develop strategy and implementation over a substantial timespan. The shift pattern for this post is Monday – Friday, in line with the seniority of the post you will be expected to work as required to meet the needs of the service. There is further reorganisation ongoing across estates and facilities
