The shift pattern for this position is 7.5 hours (3 days over 5).
This is an exciting opportunity to join our TB Nurse Specialist Team as a permanent staff member.
The post holder will work across all of NHS GGC locations, ensuring that safe, effective and person centered care is delivered both adult and child patients. The post holder requires to work closely with the Consultants in Respiratory Medicine, Infectious Diseases Unit staff, Infection Prevention and Control Teams, colleagues in pharmacy, Public Health Protection Team, Immunisation Teams and local partner agencies. A key part of the role is delivering the BCG vaccination programme and screening children and adults who are at risk from TB. Thus multidisciplinary working is required as is demonstrable experience of working in the community and working with vaccinations.
