We would welcome an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly and innovative Oncology team. The post-holder will provide a specialist nursing service across Oncology services in NHS Tayside working alongside the medical team to deliver health care complementary to the medical role as a core member of the Acute Oncology Team with the main base being in the Oncology Ward.
Applicants will require experience working at an Advanced level with the ability to make professional autonomous clinical decisions through history taking, physical examination and problem solving. The role will involve working autonomously supported by the advanced specialist nurse and working collaboratively with all members of the extended multidisciplinary team including; emergency department, medical and surgical consultants, research team, Oncology Nursing team, specialist palliative care and the ward teams.
With significant clinical acumen in the field of Oncology nursing and a sound knowledge of emerging and best practice models, you will deliver excellent clinical and patient experience outcomes. You must have or be working towards, your masters in Advanced Practice
You will be expected to play an active role in; enhancing patient experience, assuring clinical governance, peer review and audit. You will be expected to support the senior leadership team and contribute in the improvement and continued development of the service

A generous relocation package may be available in some circumstances. Limited hospital accommodation may be available at Ninewells Hospital on a first-come-first-served basis.
