Job Advert
Are you an ambitious and self-motivated individual who can help deliver key projects? The eHealth Project Delivery Team is looking for a permanent Projects Manager to help with the implementation of these projects.
The successful candidate will work with the team to ensure the successful delivery and roll out of the projects using the PRINCE2 methodology. This exciting new post will play a key role in delivering the eHealth Digital Transformation Programme and will take forward new developments and initiatives aligned to the NHS Highland digital strategy.
A significant proportion of the post holder's duties will involve working with all levels of staff across the Board and will also include other external organisations, therefore, a high level of interpersonal communication skills is expected. Having the correct digital systems in place is a crucial enabler for the health and social care teams to work collaboratively, with the patient at the centre.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in project management, with excellent organisational and programme management skills (PRINCE2) and the ability to communicate and engage with a wide range of stakeholders across health, social care and the community. You will have experience of managing and delivering projects with many interdependencies, ideally within an Information Technology setting with relevant experience and knowledge, preferably within the NHS or public sector.
Informal enquiries should be made to Alison Gorham, Project Delivery Manager; tel: 07709 535750; email: alison.gorham2@nhs.scot.
