We have an exciting opportunity for an Emergency Planning and Continuity Officer to join our team at Kirklands, NHL Headquarters, working Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 17:00.

The post holder will provide informed advice on all areas pertaining to Resilience Planning which includes Emergency Planning and Business Continuity Planning and will proactively manage and support the Emergency Planning function for NHS Lanarkshire, and support the Business Continuity function.  They will enable all aspects of NHS Lanarkshire to respond to major, internal and external incidents and ensure continued delivery of its core functions.

The following knowledge, training and/or experience is required for the job:

  • A Degree or equivalent Plus Resilience Management Qualification or EP / BCP experience OR Project management Qualification or Experience to level (SCQUF level 9)
  • Good influencing and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Good organisational and administrative skills and Computer literate
  • Ability to network
  • Project management experience
  • Record of continuous professional development
