Band 5 Pharmacy Technician Higher Level

37.5hrs (1WTE)

The shift pattern is; Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm


Would you like to practice in a new and innovative way? An opportunity to be one of the first clinical pharmacy technicians to practice in mental health services in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde has arisen. You will join the pharmacy team at Leverndale and participate in testing a new model of integrated pharmacy care within the wards providing services to patients from Renfrewshire.

The successful candidate must be a pharmacy technician, registered with the GPhC. You will have at least 2 years post registration qualification preferably in a hospital setting. You will also hold an appropriate final accuracy checking qualification. A strong interest in mental health practice would be desirable.

Appropriate training and education will be provided.
