Raigmore Hospital acute adult ANP service and National Treatment Centre- Highland (NTC-H) are currently recruiting Advanced Nurse Practitioners.
National Treatment Centre - Highland
We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our newly formed NTC-H Team.
The NTC-H is a new purpose-built centre which will provide care for both Ophthalmology and Orthopaedic Patients. The Centre is under construction on the City's University Campus and has 5 theatres, a 24-bedded ward and dedicated Ophthalmology Outpatient Department.
The ANP team will provide inpatient ward based medical cover for orthopaedic and ophthalmology patients and be the first point of contact for all medical emergencies across the site. As the team expands there will be rotation opportunities to work within Raigmore Hospital acute services team. We will also be looking to develop the role further to increase career development opportunities.

We currently have opportunities in ambulatory emergency care, medicine for the elderly and hospital at night.
Our well-established service consists of over 20 qualified ANP and a number of trainee ANP, in addition we have a group of Assistant Practitioners who support the Medical and ANP workforce. We are continually expanding our team and have recently introduced higher banded Senior ANP posts to allow opportunity for career progression beyond the traditional band 7.
The ANP team supports the deteriorating patient work-stream across Raigmore Hospital providing vital leadership, teaching, quality improvement and audit opportunities which enable our Practitioners to achieve the four pillars of practice. You will have opportunity to become a core member of the cardiac arrest team and first point of contact for our onsite Medical Emergency Team.

We offer annual learning and development time to support your core learning needs and can offer financial support to obtain core Masters level qualifications if desired. Successful applicants will be supported by a Practice Development Nurse and will be provided with a robust and supportive personal development plan.
You must have completed an NHS Highland approved advanced clinical assessment and history taking module at degree level and also be registered with the NMC as a non-medical prescriber (V300).
Full or part time hours are available with permanent, fixed term and secondments considered. Please state your post and hours preference on application.
An attractive relocation package of up to £8,000 may be available to eligible successful candidates.
