An organised individual is required for this post. The duties include managing the reception area; administration duties; maintenance of databases and secretarial support for the Community Paediatrician, Allied Health Professionals and Nursing staff based within Valleyfield Health Centre.
Candidates should possess excellent communication and administration skills and have a typing speed of at least 45 wpm. A sound knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 packages, including Excel and Word are also required along with good knowledge of office practices and procedures. Previous NHS experience, particularly in a community setting would be preferred. You will also be required to prioritise and deal with the day-to-day workload within a busy environment without direct supervision.
You should be educated to standard grade level and have previous Administration or Secretarial experience. It would be advantageous to have knowledge of medical terminology, Digital Dictation, Trakcare and TIARA systems.
The ability to travel throughout West Fife area will be required for training and staff cover purposes.
