We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Physiotherapy Teams in the RIE.

This post will work alongside physiotherapists in the Integrated Stroke Unit providing rehabilitation to people with a range of difficulties following a stroke. These patients are often  acutely unwell.

Candidates should display evidence of experience of teaching prescribed exercise programmes, gait re-education, general rehabilitation skills and computer based administrative tasks.

The individual must display excellent communication and organisational skills, with an ability to work alone or with others.

Experience of working on wards in an acute hospital setting would be ideal, in particular working with people who have suffered a stroke or similar neurological conditions and with elderly people.

Previous experience as a physiotherapy assistant or within the physiotherapy profession would be beneficial. 

Physiotherapy Services support staff development through appraisal processes, supervision and CPD opportunities.
