An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced dietitian to join our Acute Dietetic Service. This post will be based at the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh.
The post holder will provide a specialist dietetic service to Gastroenterology in the inpatient and outpatient setting, and work closely with other dietitians to support service provision across the WGH site.
The post holder will be expected to participate in student training (B & C placements) and provide support to other clinical specialties as required.
We are strongly committed to training and support for CPD and clinical governance, with a supervision framework, annual appraisals, peer support and training opportunities to further develop clinical skills.
We would welcome applications from experienced dietitians with an interest and experience of working in gastroenterology who are committed to working as part of a dedicated team to deliver high quality care.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
