Due to retirement, an opening has arisen for a keen and interested qualified Dental Nurse to work within the Orthodontic Department and to develop Orthodontic dental nursing skills. You will join our team of Dental Nurses based within Aberdeen Dental Hospital & Institute of Dentistry and will cover other areas when required due to leave.
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out all the duties of a Qualified Dental Nurse to provide high quality patient care and maintain the efficient running of the dental surgery. You will be responsible for the day to day organisation of the clinic/surgery.
You will have relevant clinical experience as a Dental Nurse with NEBDN qualification or SVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing along with full registration with the GDC and up to date CPD. Specialist experience in Orthodontic procedures is desirable although not essential, as is a post qualification in Orthodontic nursing.
Excellent interpersonal, organisational and IT skills are essential.
