We require a Quality Manager to work in the Pathology Department  of Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. The Pathology Department NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde (NHSGGC) provides a full and comprehensive Histopathology and Cytopathology service, including Paediatric Pathology and Neuropathology and associated services to the population of Glasgow & Clyde, hospital based users e.g. medical, nursing, estates, pharmacy and other department staff, users in Primary Care and General Practice; customers in the private sector, and to colleagues in university and other teaching establishments. The Department is also a tertiary referral centre and National referral centre.



The entire Pathology service for NHSGG&C is delivered from one new purpose built laboratory on the campus. The department also has a ‘hot’ lab at Glasgow Royal Infirmary for conducting urgent on-site frozen section analysis.  


It is essential you have a a relevant Master of Science degree or demonstrable equivalent knowledge and experience. You should also have aQuality Management qualification such as the IBMS Diploma in Quality Management or demonstrable equivalent management training. Current registration with the HCPC is also required.

 

This is a day shift post.
