We have an exciting opportunity for  an HCPC Registered Dietitian to gain experience in  Diabetes and would welcome applications from those who have 1-2 years or more  post graduate work.

This post will be fixed term until March 2024 to support the Diabetes and Medical Dietetic Service to cover a period of maternity leave, and presents a great opportunity to live and work in the Highlands.

You will be based in the Diabetes Centre, part of the UHI and Raigmore campus within our acute team of 14 dietitians and 3 dietetic support workers. This team is part of the wider NHS Highland dietetic service and as such will have the benefit of inter departmental supervision and peer learning. We are keen to develop innovative and trauma informed approaches to health and wellbeing, especially in regard to diabetes and weight.

Candidates will require post registration experience ideally within a multi-disciplinary team setting with experience in acute and/or diabetes.   Raigmore Hospital is an acute district hospital which  serves patients from the local area of Inverness and provides specialist inpatient and outpatient services to patients across the Highland area. 

We are looking for a team member who is self-motivated, can work well in a team, demonstrate good communication skills and is commitment to quality and improving patient care.
