We are looking for 2 Band 5 Registered Nurse to join our enthusiastic and skilled teams in GRI Trauma receiving. We have a reputation for being friendly and welcoming, whilst operating in a busy environment and we are looking for caring, hardworking colleagues who want to develop professionally in this fast-paced unit.
The Orthopaedic Unit in Glasgow Royal Infirmary delivers a varied range of specialist surgeries for fractures/injuries and elective Orthopaedic surgery for the North of Glasgow.

The unit comprises of 60 Trauma Receiving, 16 Elective and 11 stepdown beds, Fracture and Orthopaedic clinics. These posts are based in Trauma Receiving one in ward 61 and one in ward 62. We are a close multidisciplinary team and work collaboratively across the unit.
It is essential you are a Registered Adult Nurse with current NMC registration and recent experience in an acute hospital environment.
Hours are 37.5 hours per week full time, working a 12-hour shift pattern over 7 days, including night shift and Public Holidays.
