Senior Infection Prevention & Control Nurse – Band 7 – Full Time 37.5 hours: to be worked over 5 days.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, to join our Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) Team currently based at Royal Alexandra Hospital with a remit for Inverclyde Royal Hospital and Vale of Leven Hospital but will be required to work with other IPCTs within NHSGGC.  The post holder will work closely with the Lead Infection Prevention and Control Nurse to assist with the management of the sector IPC service on all matters relating to the prevention and control of infection by providing strategic direction and advice to NHSGGC. The post holder will provide leadership, supervision and clinical supervision to the IPC Nurses within the team.   The successful candidate will be able to evidence relevant training, education and experience, and will be educated to and/or operate at Degree Level, with a post graduate qualification in IPC or working towards this.
