This is a part-time post (25 hours) with a shift pattern of Day duty – Mon- Fri.
Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.
Support role within Orthoptic/Ophthalmology outpatient department based in the Royal
Alexandra Hospital, Paisley.
The role is to support clinicians by performing pre tests on patients. These include
vision , visual fields , OCT , colour vision , instilling drops as examples.
The post holder will be working in a busy department with 6 other support workers.
The post holder will be dealing with a range of patients and duties on a daily basis.
The post is 25 hours per week which must include Mon and Fri all day , the other
hours will be agreed with successful applicant.
Previous experience within an Ophthalmology unit / Optometrists is preferred. All training will be provided in house.
