SPECIALTY DOCTORS IN PAEDIATRIC ORTHOPAEDICS
ROYAL HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN, GLASGOW
We have one post available for an experienced surgeon who wishes to join our busy department. The post is due to commence in September 2023 for a period of 6 months.
You will have at least 4 years of senior orthopaedic training, including at least one year’s experience in paediatric orthopaedics. You will be experienced at delivering high quality elective and emergency care to children, in clinic and theatre.
The Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow, is the largest paediatric teaching hospital in Scotland with all paediatric medical and surgical subspecialties represented on-site. The hospital provides the major Undergraduate Paediatric Teaching facility for the
and accommodates various University Departments.
Appointees will join a team of 8 consultants, 2 SAS grades, 3 senior clinical fellows and 4 deanery trainees. There is an active teaching programme and there are opportunities for research. The posts will be based at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow, on the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital campus.
This is a 10 PA post without out of hours on call duties.
