Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow G51 4TF, Paediatric Orthoptist Band 5 post £30,229 - £37,664 pro rata 37.5hrs per week, permanent post. We require an enthusiastic Orthoptist with an interest working with children who have complex physical and/or sensory issues and their families/carers. The Paediatric Orthoptic service covers the population of Glasgow and acts as a tertiary referral centre for the West of Scotland. The department provides a service to children with a wide range of complex medical needs and works with families and carers as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will work alongside other experienced Paediatric Orthoptists and as part of the Paediatric Ophthalmology team. Audit/Research is actively encouraged with a strong commitment to professional development of staff. A diploma/degree in Orthoptics and HCPC registration are essential.
