The role of the Assistant Management Accountant is to provide expert advice and information to all levels of management within divisions in respect of financial matters thus enabling them to achieve economic and efficient use of resources.
The postholder will be educated to degree or equivalent practical experience across a range of procedures, in the provision of a modern financial management system within a large organisation. It is essential that they have practical experience in the utilisation of modern financial software as well as experience of budgeting, budgetary control, accounting procedures and the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial managers. The postholder should possess good interpersonal skills and excellent IT skills.
