Urgent Care Services Fife (UCSF) are currently recruiting for key Dispatch personnel. You will join the team at UCSF and liaising with other key Services in order to provide urgent care to the population of Fife and Kinross covering a 24/7 period.
We are looking for highly organised individuals who have experience working in a fast paced environment with the confidence and ability to use your own initiative when problem solving to ensure the UCSF runs smoothly, safely and effectively within the resources available. You will have consistent access to senior clinicians for support as required.
As a Dispatcher you will work alongside a Multi-Disciplinary Team and must demonstrate and be able to establish effective working relationships both internally and externally. You will also have experience of working within agreed processes and scripting to ensure safe and effective service delivery at all times.
You will have experience of working within a health-care setting, medical terminology, computer skills and have a good sound geographical knowledge of Fife.
Rota’s will be agreed on a four week rolling basis. This will require you to be able to work flexibly across the in-hours period 08:00 - 18:00 and out of hours periods between 18:00 - 08:00, including weekends and all public holidays; this also includes Christmas Day / Boxing Day / New Years Day, and you would be expected to work these days as a normal working day should the days fall on their agreed rota days.
Please note the salary for the part time posts is pro rata to part time hours.
