JOB TITLE: Partner or Salaried GP
Location: Dedridge Medical Group
Due to the pending retirement of one of our senior GPs, Dedridge Medical Group is looking for an enthusiastic and caring doctor to join our well-established and friendly training practice as a partner or salaried General Practitioner. We would be happy to explore a range of sessions for the successful candidate.
Dedridge Medical Group has a committed dynamic team comprising six GP Partners and 2 salaried GPs working alongside a highly skilled nursing team including an ANP and a friendly and helpful administrative staff. Additionally, we benefit from inhouse Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners, Community and Pharmacy Technicians, a Practice Mental Health Nurse and a Community Link Worker. Together we provide a full range of high quality primary care services for a mixed demographic population of 10,300 patients. We pride ourselves in being mutually supportive incorporating a daily clinician catch up at morning coffee and encourage personal and professional development through generous study leave opportunities. We also recognise the importance of ensuring a good work/life balance in allowing us to maintain provision of high quality patient care.
Dedridge Medical Group is in Livingston, West Lothian, and is conveniently situated 20 minutes from Edinburgh and 30 minutes from Glasgow. Livingston is a large town offering excellent local amenities including easy access to schools and good quality housing. The practice has close links with the local St John’s Hospital.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a GP at any stage in their career and the practice will provide many opportunities for professional development. There are also opportunities to get involved with teaching ST1/ST3 Registrars and medical students. The start date is negotiable and we offer an attractive package incorporating a competitive salary on a BMA-supported contract, including generous paid annual leave with additional study leave opportunities
