Web Analyst Developer, Band 6 (11 Months Fixed Term Post)
An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join the Programmes and Development team – part of the eHealth Department based at NHS Grampian’s Foresterhill campus. The candidate will develop interactive web sites and applications to aid patients and their support network in their experience of attending hospital for surgery.
A modern way of providing information is required to allow patients to know what to expect before, during and after hospital stays. It is hoped, that by making advice more accessible via PCs, tablets and smart phones, some positive impact could be realised regarding improving patient experience, expectations and recovery. The challenge is to develop intuitive, informative and memorable web sites and applications to support these aims.
The successful candidates will have strong requirements analysis and web development skills ideally including experience of developing web sites and applications with Episerver CMS (although other equivalent Content Management Systems may be considered) and MS C#.NET. NHS experience would also be advantageous.
Successful applicants will have the ability to work in partnership with various departments, interpersonal skills, and personal drive and enthusiasm. They must be able to quickly learn new skills, develop knowledge of various NHS Grampian departments and services, be able to work well under pressure and have the ability to manage time effectively.
